BioThere is no specific way to put my whole life in this box. My point of being and living is music. Music is my whole world. And musical theater has a way of hitting you right in the center of your soul. Or at least, for me it does. There are composers like Stephen Sondheim, Jason Robert Brown and Michael John LaCuisa to name a few, that are unbelievable at getting to the truth of the character and therefore making one relate. "Defying Gravity" (Wicked) by Stephen Schwartz is one example for me.
Something has changed within me - something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game
Too late for second guessing, too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts, close my eyes and leap
It's time to try defying gravity

I'm through accepting limits 'cause someone says they're so
